no longer blacklisted?

man, these shitty pictures be old. so i picked the least corny one.
from vikki’s blog (of the clothing/publishing/management/artist group silly thing) - grace ip is making a comeback!
while it’s nothing like a suzuki ami situation, she had reportedly been blacklisted by her record company, eeg, after publicly admitting she was in a relationship with songwriter eric kwok. nothing bad about that in itself, but idols in hong kong don’t let their zealous fans on about who they’re dating, since it’s seen to affect popularity and sales (andy lau is over forty now, but has never acknowledged rumoured relationships with actresses or the supposed wife from malaysia). eeg is powerful, nonetheless.
her eeg compatriot, joey yung, started out in the business about the same time, and is now the top female artist in hong kong.

Ah, you’ve read about Grace’s comeback too. I hope she manages to at least have the same degree of success as Ami Suzuki’s comeback. (although I don’t like the latter)
